Copperhead offers a suite of terrestrial ecology and Threatened and Endangered Species services including  formal and informal Section 7 consultation (e.g., Biological Assessments, reviews of Biological Opinions, conservation and mitigation measures), presence/probable absence surveys, and population inventories for bats, birds, small mammals, amphibians, reptiles, snails, insects, and plants. Copperhead scientists are well versed in individual state and federal regulatory requirements and use this knowledge to develop project specific approaches that best satisfy the needs of our clients. Our staff take pride in being on the front lines of developing new and innovative survey techniques and working with other scientists and state and federal agencies to always bring the most effective approach to our terrestrial ecology work.
