Copperhead Environmental Consulting, Inc. (Copperhead) performs forestry projects for a diverse group of clients including federal and state agencies, non-profit environmental organizations, municipalities, private landowners, and industry. We conduct timber stand improvement such as mid-story removal and crop tree release to increase timber value and improve general forest health. Additionally, we preform invasive species management for the purposes of improving wildlife and native plant habitats and communities. We reforest lands by planning, and executing plantings consisting of native trees and shrubs. Copperhead has a wealth of experience planning timber sales and has conducted cruising and marking timber for the US Forest Service and private landowners. Our Foresters hold Technical Service Provider certifications with NRCS to work with private landowners enrolled in cost-share programs.
